Travel Retail Sales Manager (m/f)

As part of the CHANEL Export Department, you will be reporting to the Area Manager while applying the Brand’s strategy determined in Paris in the Travel Retail shops in Germany. In particular, you will be assuming the following responsibilities:

  • Visiting the POS on a regular basis, checking the image of the Brand and the respect of CHANEL merchandising
  • Updating the online POS database with all relevant information
  • Building a relationship with shop managers
  • Securing the correct stock level
  • Monitoring and ensuring accurate implementation of the marketing plan and all launches
  • Regular reports to Paris on client visits as well as their travels
  • Follow-up of the CHANEL Sales Point Material in the shops: shelf stripes, updating kits, visuals, quality of permanent merchandising
  • Permanent collaboration with Marketing Project Manager in order to guarantee successful implementation of all promotions
  • Building and follow-up on sell-out targets together with Area Manager

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed education in business administration, retail sales or related field
  • Experience of working in a sales and training role
  • Deep understanding of the Brand, the field of cosmetics and luxury goods
  • Excellent knowledge of travel retail business
  • Experience in recruiting, supervising and motivating teams
  • Self-motivated, well-organised and independent working style
  • Creative and solution-oriented approach
  • Open-mindedness and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Good computer and MS Office skills
  • Fluent in German as well as in English; French would be a plus
